Well, when I say shoes I mean wheel.
I arrived at work, exhilarated by finally having a strong tailwind for the first time in weeks, and chucked my bike down the stock arch.
My colleague, Gareth, asked “So… you gonna get a new rear wheel for that? Y’know.. match your open pro”.
I explained that I didn’t really have any money with which to fund such an activity. That was until Gareth said “If you’re gonna put Dura-Ace on the back we’ve got a hub here, 36 hole”. Gareth held a box out, revealing an uber-shiny dura ace hub. I couldn’t resist the shiny!
So now both my wheels match, WOOP!
